Instructions for Use – Double-Sided Planters with a Rotatable Insert
- Double-Sided Planters
- The planter has two planting chambers (pockets) – one smaller and one larger, arranged alternately.
- Only one side of the planter can be used at a time.
- Both chambers are factory-drilled. The smaller chamber is fitted with a drainage stopper.
- Drainage Stopper
- The planter is equipped with two drainage holes and one stopper.
- The small drainage hole allows excess water to drain from the insert.
- This hole may be closed or left open, depending on where the planter is used.
- The stopper for this hole is stored in a dedicated compartment inside the planter.
- Water Flow in the Planter
- Water may accumulate in the planter’s chambers up to the level of the drainage hole.
- For indoor use, the drainage hole must be kept closed to prevent water leakage.
- On terraces and balconies, it is recommended to use the planter with the hole open – this allows natural circulation and maintains a hydro layer in the soil.
- As a result, plants have constant access to moisture, and watering frequency can be reduced.
- Using the Planter in Different Settings
- Indoor use (e.g. at home) – close the small drainage stopper to prevent water from leaking onto the floor (e.g. panels, parquet).
- Outdoor use (garden, lawn) – there is no need to close the drainage stopper; water can flow out freely and soak into the ground.
- Balcony or terrace use – it is recommended to close the small drainage stopper to avoid water spilling onto the surface.
